Keiro is an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of senior life in the Japanese American community. They are a respected resource with a rich history steeped in tradition and culture. They asked for a refresh of their brand and a completely renovated website with CRM and CMS integration. The challenge was to modernize their branding while honoring the past, and to introduce new functionality to the website that would be easy for the Keiro community and internal constituents to understand and use.

It was important to maintain a certain amount of recognition to the former logo as the symbolism contained within the mark was connected to its meaning. We deconstructed the logo to simplify it's architecture, beginning with less drastic steps to more conceptual elements of the umbrella shape.
